My Story
I was introduced to Scentsy in the fall of 2012, through a friend, and had a look around the website. I liked what I saw but had never seen any of the products in person as I did not know of anyone local to me selling these wonderful Scentsy products. Later in the fall of 2012, I was fortunate enough to be at a local christmas craft fair, and there was a wonderful lady there with a Scentsy table all set up, with lots of samples, books, warmers, fragrance, and scent bars all there for me to see. I took a book and whatever flyers and samples she had available for me and brought them home. I then decided I wanted to order a warmer and scent bars for a family member as a christmas gift. She came to my house, brought samples, and I made my first Scentsy purchase and was thrilled with what I had bought. Then christmas rolled around and I myself received a Scentsy warmer and three scent bars as a gift. Well my warmer has not been turned off since(only to change the scent when needed). Once January 2013 hit, I knew I needed at least more scent bars, but also knew I wanted more!!!!!! So I called my consultant, and booked a basket party, so I could earn some hostess credits and get some half price items. She brought be a basket kit, with samples of products, mini scent testers, books, flyers, order forms, and whatever else she could throw in there for me in hopes that I would have a very successful basket party! :) Well I did!!!!!!! All I had to do is show people the items in the basket and they were sold. The end result: I signed up to be a Scentsy Consultant, closed my party and placed my first order on the very same day, of over $1000 in sales. I love this product, and so does the 21 people that placed orders with me, for my first basket party. The product literally sold itself!!!! I am thrilled.
